We’ve all been there:

Writer’s block is hitting you like a truck.

Everything feels like a jumble, and nothing feels good enough.

“why do I even bother?”

you ask yourself.

before you know it, 1 skipped day turns into a week…

1 year later… your draft sits, collecting dust.

you discover it, wondering what could have happened…

if you had continued.

What if there was a way to avoid that?

The key to staying creatively consistent is accepting imperfection.

embrace it as part of your process.

80% of your writing will be junk. the other 20% will be gold.

to get to that gold, you gotta produce some junk.

“The way to get good ideas is to get lots of ideas and throw the bad ones away.”

Linus Pauling

action step:

create baseline and ideal goals for your habits.

try to stay consistent with the ideal, but give yourself permission to lean on the baseline for a day if you need to.

example:

ideal habit: write for 30 minutes every morning and output 300 words for your new book

baseline habit: write at least 3 minutes and jot down 3 ideas for your next topic to write on for tomorrow.
